In Bihar, the state government has directed 16 police officers to disclose their assets within a month, as they have not yet submitted their property details to the Home Department. The deadline for property disclosure falls a day before the commencement of the new fiscal year.

On March 31, when the disclosure deadline arrived, 16 officers from the Bihar cadre failed to make their assets public. The Home Department found that these IPS officers had not yet disclosed their property details. Subsequently, the Home Department has written to the Director-General of Police (DGP), granting a one-month period for compliance. If these officers fail to submit their property details within the stipulated time, departmental action will be taken against them.

The officers who have not submitted their asset disclosures include:
– Praveen Vashishth
– Arvind Kumar
– Dr. Paresh Saxena
– Jagmohan
– O.N. Bhaskar
– Hari Prasad S.
– Dhurat Sayali Savlaram
– Aditya Kumar
– Mo. Saifur Rahman
– Shourya Suman
– Vineet Kumar
– Shubham Arya
– Shubhank Mishra
– Bhavare Diksha Arun
– Promoted IPS officers Ashok Kumar Choudhary and Madan Kumar Anand also failed to submit their property disclosures by April 1.

Despite repeated reminders, these officers have not uploaded their asset disclosures. The Home Department has directed the DGP, R.S. Bhati, to instruct the concerned police officials to upload their property details. The department referred to earlier letters sent on January 9 and March 5, urging the IPS officers to submit their movable and immovable property disclosures. The letter issued by the Home Department states that if the desired property details are not submitted within a month, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the respective officers and staff members.
