Patna, In an unexpected move, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid an unscheduled visit to the JD(U) office, marking his return to official duties after recovering from viral flu. During his brief stay, Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the leaders’ official chambers, including those of national president Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan Singh) and transport minister Sheela Kumari.

The Chief Minister, who spent approximately 10 minutes at the party office, expressed satisfaction at finding leaders present and engaged in party activities. He inquired about the party’s ‘public hearing programme’ and emphasized the importance of such initiatives.

Later in the day, Kumar chaired a meeting to review a government scheme aimed at providing water to every farmland. Despite the short visit, Kumar’s presence at the JD(U) office was hailed as a morale booster for party workers by state party president Umesh Kushwaha.

Kumar’s departure from the JD(U) office was not without challenges, as he encountered severe traffic due to a BJP function in the vicinity. Security personnel had to make significant efforts to navigate the Chief Minister’s car through the congestion caused by the event.
