The State Government has prepared a blueprint for investment opportunities in agriculture, animal husbandry, food processing, sugarcane, and storage. A comprehensive plan will be presented to investors jointly by these departments, accompanied by subsidies from the government.
Bihar to Extract Oil from Marine Animals
A unit for the production of vegetable oil from rice bran, vegetables, soybeans, safflower, sunflower, mustard, and peanuts will be established. Additionally, a unit extracting oil from fat obtained from sheep, goats, fish, and marine animals will be set up.
Powdered Onion, Jam from Lychee
Units for producing powdered onion and mushroom, as well as a facility for making jam, jelly, soft drinks, candy, and powder from lychee, will be established. A unit for producing baby food, jam, jelly, and banana pickle from bananas will also be set up. Furthermore, a unit for creating herbal supplements for healthy eating will be established.
Manufacturing of Various Products
The establishment of a biscuit and modern bakery, an ice cream factory, a chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery factory, and factories for ready-to-eat meals, snacks, ready-to-cook food, energy powder, and instant drinks is also planned.
Units for Maintaining Freshness of Meat and Fish
Units for natural processing of honey and processing of meat, fish, and poultry will be set up. This includes units for frozen fish, fillets, fish-based meals, and storage of fresh meat, fish, and dried eggs. Units for manufacturing spice powder and paste will also be established, along with a unit for food coloring and oleoresin.
Construction of Fruit Processing Chambers
Construction of fruit processing chambers will include controlled atmosphere chambers, deep freezers, and pre-cooling chambers. The setup will also include food machinery manufacturing, along with a packaging unit.
This initiative aims to boost various sectors, creating a diverse range of products and generating economic growth in Bihar.
