The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is diligently executing a comprehensive assessment of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination results, employing a multi-layer filtering approach to eliminate undeserving candidates. Consequently, it should be noted that all results currently announced are contingent upon further scrutiny, clarified Atul Prasad, the Chairman of the Commission. In the event of any positions remaining unfilled due to this rigorous evaluation, they will be addressed by the issuance of one or more supplementary results.

Prasad further disclosed that the cut-off marks for all subjects will be imminently unveiled to provide a clearer picture of the selection criteria.

He underscored the necessity of employing such a meticulous screening process when dealing with the substantial numbers involved in the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE). This ongoing scrutiny is essential to ensure that only the most deserving candidates secure teaching positions. Prasad shared his insights on this matter through a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

In a separate communication, Prasad also indicated, “Very soon we will be declaring cut-off marks in all TRE papers,” emphasizing the impending release of these vital metrics.

The BPSC has already announced the results for various papers of the BPSC TRE, along with the district-wise allocation lists, which are accessible on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is scheduled to confer appointment letters upon approximately 1 lakh successful candidates on November 2, marking a significant milestone in the recruitment process.

The written examination, held from August 24 to August 26, spanned two sessions each day, from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, encompassing various locations across the state. The release of the final answer key occurred on October 15, 2023.

This extensive recruitment drive aims to fill 1,70,461 teaching vacancies within Bihar, reinforcing the commitment to education in the state.
