New Delhi, The political landscape heated up as Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Information & Technology Dept In-charge, Amit Malviya, launched a comprehensive attack on the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi. The onslaught followed a series of income tax raids conducted across multiple states, targeting the premises of Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu.

In a pointed statement, Malviya accused the Congress of being the “hub of corruption” and underscored the significance of the raids by highlighting the recovery of nearly ₹300 crore from locations linked to Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu. This substantial amount, discovered in an Odisha-based liquor distillery group associated with Sahu, is being touted as tangible evidence of corruption within the Congress ranks.

The Income Tax Department’s operations extended to Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha, raising pertinent questions about the origin and ownership of the recovered black money. Other BJP leaders joined the chorus of criticism, demanding answers from the Congress party regarding the nature and source of the funds.
