The Telangana unit of the Congress has lodged a complaint with the state police chief, accusing the BRS and BJP of conspiring to overthrow the newly elected government. Telangana PCC General Secretaries Kailash Neta, Charukonda Venkatesh, and Madhusudan Reddy filed the complaint, urging DGP Ravi Gupta to initiate an inquiry into their allegations.

Kailash Netha, PCC General Secretary, asserted that the BJP and KCR were attempting to destabilize the government through monetary means. He highlighted the Congress government’s commitment to Telangana’s development but claimed that BJP’s Raja Singh and BRS leaders Kadiam Srihari and Palle Rajeshwar had predicted the government’s fall within six months.

“We have the majority,” stated Netha, adding that the Congress submitted a memorandum to DGP Ravi Gupta to investigate the matter and ascertain the truth behind the alleged attempts to topple the government.

In the recently concluded Assembly election, Congress secured victory in Telangana, winning 64 seats out of the 119-member Assembly, surpassing the KCR-led BRS with 39 seats and the BJP with 8 seats.
