“Bihar legislative assembly quota will fill six seats in the Rajya Sabha. This means that six Rajya Sabha members will be elected through the votes of legislators. The BJP has announced the names of its two candidates, Bhim Singh and Dharmshila Gupta, to be sent to the Rajya Sabha. The decision to send Sushil Modi is now clear.

It should be noted that the election process for the six Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar has commenced. Among the six Rajya Sabha members whose term is ending and triggering the elections is Bihar BJP’s stalwart leader, Sushil Kumar Modi. Although Sushil Modi’s term as a Member of Parliament is concluding, the party has decided not to send him to the Rajya Sabha again. The BJP has chosen Bhim Singh and Dharmshila Gupta as its candidates from Bihar.”
