Ranchi, The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a sixth summons to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in connection with an alleged land scam. Despite multiple notices, Soren, who sought Supreme Court protection against ED actions, is yet to appear. The ED is investigating a land ownership transfer racket in Jharkhand, with 14 arrests, including IAS officer Chhavi Ranjan. The 48-year-old Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader faced prior ED questioning in November for a money-laundering case linked to alleged illegal mining in the state.
