Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bihar for the second time within three days, bringing significant gifts to the state. On March 6, PM Modi will inaugurate and dedicate various foundational projects related to roads, railways, petroleum, and natural gas, amounting to over ₹8700 crores, in the West Champaran district’s Bettiah. A public gathering is scheduled at the Bettiah airport compound on March 6, where the Prime Minister will address the people.

Gifts Include Indian Oil Pipeline and More
During his visit to Bettiah, PM Modi will inaugurate the 109-kilometer-long Indian Oil Muzaffarpur-Motihari LPG pipeline. This pipeline will benefit eight districts in North Bihar, including East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, and Madhubani. Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate the Indian Oil LPG bottling plant and storage terminal in Motihari, contributing to the supply chain in connected markets.

Road Projects on the Horizon
PM Modi will inaugurate road projects, including the dual-lane Piprakothi-Motihari-Raxaul section on NH-28E and the dual-lane Shivhar-Sitamarhi section on NH-104. The foundation stone for the NH-19 bypass connecting Bakarpur Hat to Manikpur section for four lanes will also be laid during his visit.

Railway Projects in the Spotlight
Various railway projects will see their inauguration, unveiling, and foundation stone laying during PM Modi’s visit. He will dedicate the doubling of the 62-kilometer rail line from Bapudham Motihari to Piprahan. Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate other projects, including the conversion of Narkatiaganj-Gaunaha meter gauge and the foundation laying for the four-lane Bakarpur Hat to Manikpur section of NH-19, including the construction of a six-lane cable bridge parallel to the Ganga River in Patna.

Saturday’s Bihar Tour
PM Modi’s visit to Bihar comes after his Saturday tour to Aurangabad and Begusarai, where he addressed public gatherings and announced projects worth crores for the state, marking a substantial development initiative.”
