In a momentous occasion set for Sunday, September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to inaugurate ‘YashoBhoomi,’ an illustrious convention center nestled in the heart of Delhi’s Dwarka. This remarkable establishment, also referred to as the ‘India International Convention and Expo Centre,’ stands as a colossal testament to India’s dedication to facilitating Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) on a global scale.

Key Highlights of ‘YashoBhoomi’:

Vast Expanse: YashoBhoomi boasts a sprawling total area of 8.9 lakh square meters, with a built-up area exceeding 1.8 lakh square meters, affirming its status as one of the world’s most expansive MICE facilities.

Versatile Spaces: The convention center comprises an impressive array of 15 convention rooms, including a magnificent main auditorium, an opulent grand ballroom, and an additional 13 meeting rooms, all collectively capable of accommodating a staggering 11,000 delegates.

Grand Auditorium: The main auditorium, with its capacity to seat 6,000 attendees, stands as the centerpiece of YashoBhoomi’s grandeur. Furthermore, the grand ballroom adds to its splendor by providing space for an additional 2,500 guests. An extended open area, with a seating capacity of up to 500 people, offers versatility in event hosting.

Expansive Exhibition Hall: YashoBhoomi is set to house one of the world’s largest exhibition halls, spanning a colossal 1.07 lakh square meters. This impressive space will be seamlessly connected to the Delhi Airport Metro Express line, enhancing accessibility for visitors.

Cultural Embellishments: A unique touch of Indian culture is woven into the fabric of this convention center, featuring terrazzo floors adorned with brass inlay, paying homage to traditional rangoli patterns. Suspended sound-absorbent metal cylinders and intricately patterned illuminated walls further accentuate the fusion of modernity and tradition.

The inauguration of the new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25, coinciding with the grand unveiling of YashoBhoomi, will undoubtedly mark a momentous day in India’s journey towards becoming a global hub for conferences and exhibitions.

As the nation eagerly anticipates this milestone event, ‘YashoBhoomi’ promises to set new standards in the world of convention centers, showcasing India’s commitment to hosting world-class gatherings.
