Siwan, Bihar:Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in Bihar and RJD legislator, didn’t hold back in his scathing remarks against the BJP and CM Nitish Kumar during a rally in Siwan. He referred to BJP as a “dustbin” that accepts expelled leaders from rival parties, portraying it as a receptacle for political castoffs.
Tejashwi, who is currently on a statewide tour leading the “Jan Vishwas Yatra,” took a swipe at Nitish Kumar, stating, “Unse ab Bihar chalne-wala nahin hai” (He is no longer capable of running Bihar). He emphasized the need for a new vision to transform Bihar and subtly distanced himself from the “Jungle Raj” stigma associated with the RJD in the past.
The rally in Siwan, once the stronghold of late Mohammad Shahabuddin, witnessed Tejashwi’s strategic omission of any interaction with Shahabuddin’s widow, Hena. This underscores the reported growing rift between the RJD and Hena, hinting at political discord within the party.
Tejashwi affirmed the ideological resilience of himself and Lalu Prasad Yadav, asserting that they haven’t surrendered despite facing challenges and legal battles. He concluded the rally by seeking support for transforming Bihar and positioning the RJD as a force with a fresh perspective.
