Yavatmal: The Yavatmal police registered an offence against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut for an allegedly objectionable article against Prime Minister Narendra Modi published in the party’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana.’ The complaint was filed by BJP Yavatmal convener Nitin Bhutada.
According to the complaint, Raut’s article, published on December 11, is deemed objectionable. The case was registered against Raut under IPC sections 153(A), 505(2), and 124(A) at Umarkhed police station, citing promotion of enmity between different groups and other offenses.
