Patna, With the onset of the election year 2024, the Bihar BJP has taken proactive measures, urging the central leadership to organize rallies featuring national leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This strategic move aims to gain an advantage over its political rivals, particularly the INDIA bloc at the national level and the six-party Grand Alliance within the state.

In anticipation of the parliamentary elections later this year, the party’s state unit has formally requested the visits of PM Modi, national president J P Nadda, and Union home minister Amit Shah. The party also seeks the scheduled visits of former national presidents, Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari.

State BJP Chief Samrat Chaudhary highlighted that structural changes within the organization have been implemented to ensure the success of these visits. The 40 parliamentary seats in Bihar have been strategically grouped into 10 clusters, including Patna, Magadh, Shahabad, Bhagalpur, Munger, Saran, Champaran, Tirhut, Mithila, and Purnia.

After the exit of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and JD(U) from the NDA 16 months ago, the current allies aim to secure all 40 seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The dates for the visits of prominent BJP leaders will be coordinated by the party’s national headquarters in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
