The Supreme Court has issued a public warning regarding a counterfeit Supreme Court website designed for a phishing attack. In an official notice, the Supreme Court strongly advises the general public to exercise caution by refraining from clicking on or sharing links without confirming their authenticity. The Court emphasized that it does not solicit personal, financial, or confidential information from individuals.

The Supreme Court Registry of India has been made aware of a phishing attempt. A fraudulent website, masquerading as the official site, has been established and is accessible through the URLs http://cbins/scigv.com and https://cbins.scigv.com/offence.

The perpetrators are attempting to acquire personal and confidential information under the guise of “Offence of Money-Laundering” through the URL https://cbins.scigv.com/offence. Visitors to the mentioned URLs are strongly cautioned against divulging any personal or confidential information, as this could result in the theft of such data.

The Supreme Court Registry strongly advises the general public to refrain from clicking on or sharing received links without verifying their legitimacy. It’s important to note that the Registry will never request personal details, financial information, or other sensitive data. Additionally, before clicking on any URL, it’s recommended to hover over it to confirm its authenticity.

In the event that you have fallen victim to the aforementioned phishing attack, it is advised to change the passwords for all online accounts and promptly inform your bank and credit card company about unauthorized access.

The Supreme Court Registry has taken this phishing attack seriously and has alerted law enforcement agencies to investigate the incident and bring the culprits to justice.

This notice has been released in the interest of public safety.
