According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Jindal’s current net worth stands at nearly $25 billion, while Premji trails with a total net worth of $24 billion. Jindal holds the 61st position globally, whereas Premji ranks 66th among billionaires.
Just two years ago, Premji held the third spot in India’s wealthiest list, but a 42% decline in Wipro’s share price over the last two years has impacted his net worth.
Savitri Jindal’s wealth has seen an impressive 87% growth in the same period, attributed to her diverse investments in sectors such as power, cement, and infrastructure. JSW Steel has notably contributed around 30% to her fortune, with additional gains from JSW Infrastructure, Jindal Steel & Power, and JSW Energy.
As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mukesh Ambani remains the wealthiest person in India, boasting a net worth of $92.3 billion. Globally, Ambani secures the 13th position. Gautam Adani follows as the second richest in India, with a total net worth of $85.3 billion, holding the 14th position globally.
Shapoor Mistry of Tata Group ranks as the third richest Indian, with a net worth of $33.8 billion. Founder of HCL Technologies, Shiv Nadar, takes the fourth position among India’s richest, with a net worth of $31.6 billion. Internationally, Mistry is at the 40th position, while Nadar holds the 45th rank.
