In the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has emerged with a headline-worthy revelation. Yes, Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination papers for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday and kickstarted his election campaign with a massive roadshow. During the nomination process, the Congress leader disclosed some personal information.

How Much Money Does Rahul Gandhi Have?

According to the details provided in the affidavit, Rahul Gandhi’s income over the past five years has exceeded ₹6 crore. The Congress leader is the owner of assets worth ₹20.4 crore. He faces 18 pending criminal cases, including one involving defamation in Gujarat where the Supreme Court has imposed a stay. As per the affidavit, Rahul Gandhi had ₹55,000 cash on hand and ₹26,25,157 in his two bank accounts as of March 15.

Notable Attendees Join Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi arrived in Wayanad by helicopter in the morning. He then led a roadshow from Kalpetta to the Civil Station, where hundreds of supporters were seen. Rahul addressed the crowd there and launched a scathing attack on the BJP. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, along with other senior party leaders, were also present as Rahul Gandhi submitted his nomination papers.

Voting to Take Place on April 26

It’s noteworthy that voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Kerala is scheduled for April 26. To welcome Rahul Gandhi, a large number of people, including leaders and workers of the United Democratic Front (UDF), gathered in Kalpetta.
