Ayodhya, In anticipation of the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram in his child-like form (Ram Lalla) at the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, a comprehensive schedule of rituals spanning from January 16 to January 22 has been revealed by the Temple trust.
The seven-day schedule includes the following key events:
– January 16: Atonement ceremony conducted by the Temple trust’s appointed host, ‘Dashvidh’ bath on the banks of the River Saryu, including Vishnu worship and Godan.
– January 17: Procession of the idol of Lord Ram (Ram Lalla) with devotees carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash.
– January 18: Rituals encompassing Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, Vastu Puja, and more.
– January 19:Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana, and Havan.
– january 20: Washing the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple with holy Saryu water, followed by Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas rituals.
– January 21: Divine bath of Ram Lalla with 125 urns, along with the Shayadhivas ritual.
– January 22: Morning worship of Ram Lalla, consecration in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the afternoon.
Dignitaries expected to attend the event include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cricketers, celebrities, industrialists, saints, and representatives from various countries.
Noteworthy invitees for the January 22 ceremony include Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, and former PM Manmohan Singh.
