In anticipation of increased tourist and pilgrim visits to the Ram Temple, the Uttar Pradesh government unveils plans to deploy electric buses on the revered Dharma Path and Ram Path in Ayodhya.
To further enhance accessibility, the government will launch 100 electric buses starting January 15, along with the introduction of golf carts and e-rickshaws in Ayodhya.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office, designated parking spaces and corridors have been developed to manage the expected surge in visitors during the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.
Post-consecration, the focus will shift to efficient crowd management for darshan, worship, and travel, along with the rapid development of temporary parking facilities.
New areas for parking, covering 70 acres, have been marked at Udaya Chowk on the Chaudah Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama routes.
Ram Path and Dharma Path, two of the main paths in Ayodhya, will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of devotees and visitors during the significant event.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Ayodhya to inspect preparations, including water works, police control room, and tent cities constructed by the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a meeting to review ongoing preparations for the grand ceremony on January 22.
The period from January 14 to January 22 will mark Ayodhya’s Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating the momentous occasion.
