In a gripping chase, Suryakumar Yadav, captaining India for the first time, led from the front with a composed knock of 80, guiding the hosts to a two-wicket triumph.

Ishan Kishan’s contribution of 58, along with a crucial 112-run partnership with Yadav, set the foundation for India’s pursuit. Despite the departure of key players, the match went down to the wire, culminating in a last-ball victory for India, with Rinku Singh steering the team over the line.
