Seamless Integration Across Platforms
The voice-based UPI payment feature will seamlessly integrate into various platforms, including UPI applications, telecom calls, and IoT devices supporting Hindi and English. The system is also set to expand its language support to encompass regional languages, further enhancing inclusivity.
To initiate a voice-based UPI transaction, users simply provide a voice command and enter their UPI PIN to execute the payment. This initiative is a collaborative effort between NPCI and IIT Madras’ A14 Bharat Bhashini Program.
