Prayagraj: In a significant move aimed at aiding aspirants, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has taken the initiative to upload old question papers of various recruitment exams on its official website – [https://uppsc.up.nic.in/](https://uppsc.up.nic.in/). This step, catering to the convenience of over 16 lakh aspirants, eliminates the need for them to search extensively for old question papers.

Aspirants preparing for recruitment exams conducted by UPPSC can now access old question papers in the ‘Candidate Corner’ section of the Commission’s official website. This initiative is expected to assist aspirants in understanding the exam pattern and types of questions, streamlining their preparation efforts.

Presently, the General Studies-I and General Studies-II question papers of the preliminary examination of Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (PCS)-2023, along with question papers of the main examination, are accessible on the website. Additionally, question papers of the preliminary and main examinations for the Review Officer (RO)/Assistant Review Officer (ARO) recruitment exam-2021 are available. Aspirants can also download question papers for the Staff Nurse Sister Grade-2 (Female/Male) recruitment exam-2017 and 2021, and the Dental Surgeon Screening Examination 2018 and 2023.

The UPPSC has consistently undertaken measures in the interest of aspirants. In a prior move, details of candidates successful in PCS (Main) Examination, yet unable to clear interviews, were uploaded on the website. This facilitated direct contact from private sector employers for potential opportunities. The Commission also introduced mandatory One Time Registration (OTR), alleviating the need for repeated registrations for different recruitment exams conducted by UPPSC.

This commendable step by the UPPSC stands to significantly benefit aspirants, offering them a valuable resource in their preparation journey.
