New Delhi | In a recent lawsuit against former CFO Jatin Dalal, Wipro has revealed a non-compete clause barring senior executives from joining 10 rival firms for 12 months after leaving the company. The list of restricted firms includes Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, DXC Technology, HCL, IBM, Infosys, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.
The legal action against Dalal seeks ₹25.15 crore in damages for joining Cognizant, a direct competitor. The lawsuit emphasizes Dalal’s senior roles, making him privy to confidential information about Wipro’s strategy and business.
Wipro has also taken legal action against Mohd Haque, its former Senior VP who joined Cognizant. While several top executives departed from Wipro last year, only Dalal and Haque faced legal consequences.
