New Delhi, The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced the appointment of Raghav Chadha as the leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha, succeeding Sanjay Singh, who is currently facing health issues and unable to fulfill the role. The decision was communicated to the Rajya Sabha Chairman through an official letter from the AAP leadership.

Sanjay Singh, the outgoing leader, is presently in custody in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The Rajya Sabha secretariat has received the letter from AAP, and it is currently under consideration by the Rajya Sabha Secretary General for implementation.

Raghav Chadha, one of the youngest members of the Rajya Sabha, will assume the responsibility of leading the party in the Upper House. Currently, AAP holds a total of 10 seats in the Rajya Sabha, making it the fourth-largest party in terms of strength after the BJP, Congress, and the TMC.
