In a recent incident on a Mumbai to Singapore Air India flight, a tourist expressed dissatisfaction with his journey, citing multiple issues, including a co-passenger invading his personal space in the business class section. The passenger, who shared the experience on Reddit, posted pictures of his co-passenger’s feet resting on his armrest, even reaching above the aircraft window.
The tourist elaborated that despite multiple polite requests to remove her feet, the airline staff initially refused to intervene. The situation escalated when the flyer was woken up by the lady’s toenails stabbing his arm, accompanied by an unpleasant odor. The passenger resorted to stuffing the affected areas with pillows, blankets, and his backpack.
Adding to his grievances, the tourist highlighted a broken seat, non-functional in-flight entertainment, and an overall state of filthiness on the Air India flight. Having traveled extensively, he labeled this experience as the most disgusting among the 69 flights covering 160,000kms in the past year.
This incident adds to a series of complaints against Air India, with flyers expressing discontent over broken seats, poor aircraft conditions, and malfunctioning in-flight entertainment systems in recent months.
