Shooting Glory: India’s shooting contingent left an indelible mark on this day. In the men’s 10m air rifle team event, the trio of Divyansh Singh Panwar, Rudrankkash Balasaheb Patil, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar not only clinched the gold medal but also scripted history by establishing a new world record with a cumulative score of 1893.7 points. This achievement reflects the prowess and dedication of India’s shooting prodigies.

Rowing Excellence: India’s rowers showcased their mettle by securing a bronze medal in the men’s four rowing final with a commendable timing of 6:10:81. The quartet comprising Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar, and Ashish delivered a stellar performance, narrowly missing out on a higher podium finish. Additionally, India earned another bronze in the men’s quadruple sculls final, adding to the nation’s medal haul.

Swimming Brilliance: Srihari Nataraj, representing India in swimming, demonstrated his prowess by qualifying for the men’s 50m backstroke final after a remarkable performance in the heats. His time of 25.43 seconds in the heats secured his place in the final event.

Cricket Final: The spotlight now turns to the Indian women’s cricket team, set to compete in the gold medal match against Sri Lanka. With Captain Harmanpreet Kaur returning from suspension, hopes are high for a thrilling encounter and a potential gold medal.

This remarkable showing on Day 2 has bolstered India’s medal tally, with a total of one gold, three silver, and four bronze medals.
