The floor test for Nitish Kumar’s NDA government in Bihar is scheduled for Monday, February 12th. Ahead of the floor test, Congress and RJD have confined their MLAs in Patna and Hyderabad to prevent any defections, while BJP has sought divine intervention, with Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and other party leaders conducting prayers at the renowned Vishnupad Temple and Mangala Gauri Temple on Sunday.

Expressing confidence, Deputy CM Sinha asserted, “We have a sufficient majority. There will be no trouble in the floor test on February 12th.” Sinha first worshipped at the feet of Lord Vishnu and later performed rituals at the Mangala Gauri Temple, seeking blessings for the well-being of Bihar.

Sinha emphasized the positive energy flow within Bihar and the revival of the state’s glorious cultural heritage. He highlighted the eradication of lawlessness and corruption under their governance and criticized the RJD for their previous regime’s exploitation, which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had ousted.

Responding to questions about RJD MLAs being sequestered before the floor test, Sinha sarcastically remarked that it reflects the feudal and dynastic mindset, treating legislators like bonded laborers, which he deemed cruel mockery. He criticized such practices as not in the interest of Bihar.

Addressing the absence of some BJP MLAs from the ongoing training camp, Sinha clarified that there are no absentees and refuted any rumors suggesting otherwise. The BJP is currently conducting a training camp for its legislators in Bihar, with the second day underway, following the mysterious absence of five MLAs on the first day.
