The weather in Bihar is gearing up for another shift as a western disturbance becomes active once again. The meteorological department has forecasted cloudy skies across the state on Saturday, with chances of rainfall in some areas. On April 1st and 2nd, residents may experience cooler temperatures throughout the day. Currently, the state is experiencing a prevailing easterly wind.
Chance of Rain in These Districts:
According to the official forecast issued by IMD, there are chances of light rain in some places in districts including Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Buxar, Bhojpur, Araria, Kishanganj, Sitamarhi, West Champaran, East Champaran, Bhagalpur, Banka, and Kishanganj. However, isolated showers are possible across the entire state. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning in some areas.
Duration of Weather Changes:
As per IMD’s previous forecast, a slight decrease in daytime temperatures and an increase in nighttime temperatures are expected in this scenario. However, these weather changes are anticipated only until March 30th. IMD meteorologists suggest that another slight decrease in both morning and evening temperatures may occur on April 1st and 2nd. Currently, nighttime temperatures are running about two to four degrees Celsius higher than normal.
Temperature Record in Bihar:
According to official records from IMD, the highest maximum temperature recorded in the state on March 29th was 37.8 degrees Celsius, while the average maximum temperature was around 33 degrees Celsius.
