Lucknow, In a significant development, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has officially declared her nephew, Akash Anand, as her successor during a party meeting focused on preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The announcement underscores Akash Anand’s pivotal role in strengthening the BSP and overseeing preparations for the upcoming polls.
Mayawati’s decision places Akash Anand, son of Mayawati’s younger brother Anand Kumar, in a key leadership position within the party.
