The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced a crucial update regarding the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination 2023. In a significant move, the commission has extended the deadlines for application fee submission and application submission, offering candidates additional time to participate in the extensive recruitment process.

Candidates now have until December 9, 2023, to complete the payment of application fees, and the deadline for submitting applications has been extended to December 11, 2023. Job seekers are urged to utilize this extended timeline and regularly check the official website (bssc.bihar.gov.in) for any further updates related to the recruitment examination.

This recruitment drive by BSSC aims to fill an impressive 12,199 vacancies across various departments of the Bihar Government. The vacancies are distributed among different categories, with 5,503 unreserved posts, 1,201 reserved for EWS, 1,377 for Backward Class, 2,083 for Extremely Backward Class, 1,540 for SC, 91 for ST, and 404 for women from the Backward Class.

The selection process involves a multi-stage evaluation, including a preliminary written examination, main examination, and a skill test. Notably, if the number of applications exceeds 40,000, the preliminary examination will be conducted in multiple phases to ensure fairness and efficiency.

The exam pattern for the preliminary examination is objective-type, covering key subjects such as General Studies, General Science, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. The result will be released through the normalized method, especially if the examination is conducted in different shifts to maintain fairness and accuracy.

Candidates successfully passing the preliminary examination, up to five times the number of vacancies, will progress to the main examination. The multi-tiered selection process is meticulously designed to identify the most qualified candidates for various roles within the Bihar Government departments.

Crucially, aspirants must note that the Inter Level Prelims Exam Passing Marks are set at a minimum qualifying mark of 40% for the General Category, 36.5% for BC, 34% for MBC, and 32% for SC/ST candidates. Adhering to these qualification standards is imperative for candidates aiming to progress through the initial stage of the recruitment process.

With the application deadline extension, candidates are encouraged to make the most of this extra time to ensure accurate and timely submission of their applications. Staying informed through the official website and following guidelines provided by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission will contribute to a successful application and preparation for the upcoming examinations.
