New Delhi: The political tussle intensifies as Arvind Kejriwal skips ED summons for the third time, with AAP accusing BJP of a plot to arrest him and BJP labeling the Delhi CM as behaving like a fugitive.

Reacting to AAP’s allegations, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva criticized Kejriwal, stating, “Choron ki Baraat (procession of thieves) making noise and mourning for Kejriwal. When you did corruption what happened that time? You are running away from the investigation agency.”

BJP leader Bansuri Swaraj emphasized that Kejriwal is not above the law and highlighted his avoidance of the investigation despite three summons from the ED.

AAP leader Jasmine Shah claimed BJP’s motive is to finish AAP and arrest Kejriwal before the Lok Sabha elections, stating that all summons served to him are illegal.

Congress leader Udit Raj urged Kejriwal to appear before the ED and present his stance, likening it to the approach of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in similar situations.

As the political drama unfolds, BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri questioned whether someone repeatedly avoiding police visits should be arrested, emphasizing equal treatment under the law for common people and VIPs.

Kejriwal, citing prior commitments to Rajya Sabha elections and Republic Day, skipped the summons and criticized the ED’s non-disclosure and non-response approach in a letter.
