Cricketing Fraternity Extends New Year Wishes

New Delhi: As the world welcomed the dawn of a new year, cricketing legends and rising stars from around the globe took to social media to extend their warm wishes to fans and the cricketing community.

Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, in a heartfelt tweet, expressed, “New Year is a great time to script new dreams and commit further to existing ones. May all our positive thoughts manifest into the goals we desire. Wishing everyone a happy and fulfilling New Year 2024. #HappyNewYear.”

Indian opener Smriti Mandhana echoed the sentiment, wishing everyone “joy, success, and exciting adventures” in the coming year.

Former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh, in a video post, shared his belief in the power of resilience, stating, “The New Year is 365 opportunities to make a difference, to inspire others and to write your own victorious story.”

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami, reflecting on his memorable 2023, extended his wishes for a “Happy new year to everyone 2024.”

KL Rahul, another prominent name in Indian cricket, took to X to convey his wishes for a new year filled with “love, positivity and exciting adventures.”

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, known for their resilience on the field, hoped for a new year filled with “hope, happiness, and harmony.” Rahane shared a family picture, wishing everyone a happy new year.

Former cricketer VVS Laxman, posting a thoughtful message, said, “May the longtime Sun shine upon you, All love surround you and the pure light within you, Guide your way home. #HappyNewYear.”

Wishing for a better year, former West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop shared, “Happy New Year to everyone. May your 2024 be filled with lots of love, warmth and kindness, one person at a time.”

Australia’s star opener Travis Head celebrated the occasion by sharing a video of fireworks in Australia, captioning it, “HAPPY NEW YEAR AUSTRALIA #Welcome2024 #NewYear2024.”

Cricketing legends Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis extended their wishes, hoping for a better year filled with love and prosperity.

As the cricketing fraternity ushered in the new year with positivity and hope, fans eagerly anticipate the exciting moments and achievements the cricketing world will unfold in 2024.
