PM Modi shares govt’s 25-year plan, says, ‘India will be among top-3 economies…’

In the inauguration ceremony of the Surat Diamond Bourse, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed the government’s ambitious 25-year plan for India’s economic development. Key highlights include targeting a $10 trillion economy, emphasizing the growth of the export industry, and a commitment to position India among the top three economies globally.

1. $10 Trillion Economy:PM Modi stated that the government has set a target to make India a $10 trillion economy in the next 25 years. He emphasized the ongoing efforts to achieve both the $5 trillion and $10 trillion milestones.

2. Export Industry Focus: In addition to the economic target, Modi highlighted the government’s focus on boosting the country’s export industry to unprecedented levels.

3. Global Ranking:PM Modi reiterated his commitment to positioning India as one of the world’s top three economies during his third term, emphasizing the importance of sustained economic growth.

4. Surat’s Transformation:Modi praised Surat’s transformation from ‘Sun City’ to ‘Diamond City,’ attributing it to the hard work of the people. He lauded Surat Diamond Bourse as a symbol of “Modi’s guarantee.”

5. Security Breach Concerns: Addressing the recent security breach in Parliament, PM Modi acknowledged its seriousness and urged against squabbling over the issue. He emphasized the need for a focused approach to address the concerns raised by the Opposition.

The Surat Diamond Bourse, now the world’s largest office building, is expected to significantly contribute to the diamond industry, providing employment opportunities and further establishing Surat as a key player in global trade.
