In a recent update, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has revised the schedule for the release of exit polls concerning the General Elections for the Legislative Assemblies of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, and Telangana.

As per the latest announcement on November 30, 2023, the ban on publicizing exit poll results will now be lifted at 5:30 p.m. Earlier, the ban, as per the October 31, 2023, notification, was effective from 7 a.m. on November 7, the day Mizoram and Chhattisgarh underwent polls, until 6:30 p.m. on November 30, concluding the Telangana elections. This timing has been adjusted, now ending an hour earlier.

Madhya Pradesh held its elections on November 17, followed by Rajasthan a week later on November 25.
