In a spirited address at Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the world eagerly anticipates January 22, the day of Ram Lalla’s enthronement at the Ram temple. He urged people to celebrate by lighting ‘Ram Jyoti’ at their homes and observing Diwali on this significant occasion.

The Prime Minister inaugurated projects worth over ₹15,700 crore, including the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station. Addressing the crowd, Modi emphasized that India’s heritage guides its progress, blending tradition with modernity.

Modi, referring to Ayodhya as “Ayodhyaji,” expressed excitement for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, where he will be the chief guest. He requested people not to visit Ayodhya on that day due to security reasons and logistical considerations.

The PM highlighted the historical significance of the Ram Mandir, emphasizing that the nation has waited 550 years for this moment. He assured the public of Ayodhya’s overall development, urging them to preserve their cultural heritage.

Modi cited examples of nationwide development initiatives, including the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi and renovation projects in Kedarnath and Mahakal. He urged temples across the country to initiate a sanitation drive from Makar Sankranti on January 14 to January 22.

In a surprise visit, Modi enjoyed tea at the residence of the 10th crore beneficiary of the PM Ujjwala Yojana scheme, Meera. The Prime Minister interacted with the family, praised the taste of the tea, and autographed a child’s book with ‘Vande Mataram.’

The PM concluded his speech with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai.”
