In a spirited rally held at Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan today, leaders of the INDIAN alliance launched a scathing attack against the central government and the BJP. Opposition leaders, from Uddhav Thackeray to Tejashwi Yadav, took aim at the government in the ‘Save Democracy’ rally. Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana Soren, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Anita Kejriwal, also voiced strong criticisms against the Centre. Rahul Gandhi, addressing the rally, targeted the Modi government as well. He asserted that while Congress is the largest opposition party, all its accounts have been frozen.

Attempt to Rig Elections

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, addressing the ‘INDIAN’ alliance rally in Delhi, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of attempting to rig the Lok Sabha elections. Gandhi claimed that PM Modi, along with a few wealthy individuals, is trying to fix the match by snatching the Constitution from the poor. He emphasized that without EVM manipulation, social media pressure, and media coercion, they cannot win more than 180 seats.

BJP Seeks Constitutional Amendments, Says Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi, echoing from the Ramleela Maidan, stated that a BJP MP had proclaimed they would amend the Constitution if they secure 400 seats. This statement was made to test public opinion. Gandhi warned that if people do not vote wholeheartedly, their attempt to rig the elections would succeed, leading to the destruction of the Constitution. He stressed that the Constitution is the voice of the people, and if it ends, the nation will perish.
