In a resounding endorsement of India’s economic prowess, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proclaimed that India stands as his nation’s foremost trade ally in the South Asian region. Following the culmination of the G20 leaders’ summit, President Erdogan, in a press briefing, lauded the burgeoning prospects for cooperation between the two nations. He underscored that this cooperation, primarily within the economic realm but also spanning various other sectors, is poised for substantial growth in the aftermath of Turkiye’s recent election.

Furthermore, President Erdogan commended the inclusion of the African Union within the G20 ranks, predicting a reinvigoration of the collective. On the sidelines of the summit, he engaged in discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This development holds significant promise for the bilateral relations and economic collaborations between Turkey and India, promising a bright future of prosperity and partnership.
