Anuradha Paudwal: renowned singer joins BJP

Renowned singer Anuradha Paudwal commenced her political journey by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. She took the BJP’s membership at the party’s Delhi office.

Anuradha Paudwal, a famous playback singer, has sung hundreds of film songs in collaboration with the renowned Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu. Their songs during the 90s gained immense popularity. Even today, their songs are widely appreciated. Initially associated with Bollywood, Anuradha Paudwal later shifted her focus towards devotional songs. Her devotional songs during the 90s and beyond became hugely popular, reaching the pinnacle of her popularity during that period. Anuradha Paudwal got married to Arun Paudwal in 1969. Arun Paudwal was an assistant to S.D. Burman and a music composer. Anuradha Paudwal has two children, Aditya and Kavita Paudwal. Unfortunately, her son Aditya passed away a few days ago, while her husband Arun Paudwal passed away in 1991.

Congress Ex-MP Dr. Karan Singh Also Joins BJP

Prior to Anuradha Paudwal’s joining the BJP, former Congress MP Dr. Karan Singh Yadav from Alwar, Rajasthan, also joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jaipur on Saturday. Several other Congress leaders joined the party along with him. Dr. Yadav had resigned from the primary membership of the Congress on Friday.
