Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday ceremonially hoisted the saffron flag, Dharma Dhwaj, at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, symbolising the completion of the Ram Temple’s construction.
Mr. Modi hoisted the right-angled triangular saffron flag, 10 feet high and 20 feet long, figuring the image of a radiant Sun symbolising Lord Ram’s valour, an ‘Om’, and the Kovidara tree. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak (chief) Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth were also present.
