Jaipur,  Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-time MLA from the Bharatiya Janata Party, is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan today. The oath-taking ceremony, scheduled at Ramnivas Bag in Jaipur, will commence at 11 am.

The BJP, securing 115 seats in the November 25 assembly elections, emerged victorious, while the incumbent Congress managed only 69 seats out of 199 contested. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa will also be sworn in as deputy chief ministers.

Prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda, are expected to grace the occasion. The historic Albert Hall, the venue of the ceremony, has witnessed extensive security and seating arrangements.

In an earlier announcement, Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed commitment to Prime Minister Modi’s vision, pledging the BJP’s dedication to fulfilling the public’s aspirations and steering Rajasthan towards development.
