The Finance Department Administrative Class Committee in Bihar has approved the creation of 30,547 positions. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Samrat Chaudhary shared this information on Saturday via social media, stating that these positions were created under the guidance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The majority, 25,386 positions, are related to the Education Department.
Within the Education Department, the created positions include 11,039 for primary to fifth-grade school teachers, 5,957 for sixth to eighth-grade school teachers, 4,316 for ninth to tenth-grade school teachers, and 4,074 for eleventh to twelfth-grade school teachers. Additionally, 2,338 positions are created in the Science and Technology Education Department, 1,114 in the PHD Department, and 737 in the Labor Resources Department.
Specifically in the PHD Department, all 1,114 positions are for Work Inspectors. The Science and Technology Education Department sees the creation of positions like Instructors, Senior Instructors, Chief Instructors, Laboratory Assistants, Senior Laboratory Assistants, and Chief Laboratory Assistants.
Furthermore, positions have been created in other departments, including 32 for engineers, 92 for firefighting, clerks, and attendants in the Home Department, 63 for assistants to measurement and weight inspectors, and 209 from DSP to constable positions.
In addition to these, positions have been approved in the Agriculture Department for assistants to measurement and weight inspectors, in the SC-ST Welfare Department for officers responsible for welfare and awareness, in the Food and Consumer Protection Department for essay directors, and in the Panchayati Raj Department for chief scheme officers, clerks, and engineers.
