According to the Bihar Weather Department, several districts in Bihar are expected to experience rainfall today. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of a two to four-degree Celsius increase in daytime temperatures in many districts of the state this week.

In North-Central and Northeast Bihar, there is a chance of rainfall on Monday, especially in Madhubani, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Supaul, and Araria. However, the rest of Bihar is expected to have clear skies, as per IMD forecasts. The Weather Department suggests that most districts in the state may experience an increase in temperature starting Tuesday.

A rise of two to four degrees Celsius is possible in the state’s temperature within a day, according to IMD’s previous estimates. Additionally, on April 18, another western disturbance in the Western Himalayas could become active, leading to light rainfall in some parts of the state. According to IMD Patna, a trough line is passing through southern Bihar.

Patna recorded the highest temperature at 27.4 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, a cyclonic circulation has formed around the state. Consequently, the air pressure in the state has decreased, resulting in relatively calm winds. As a result, nighttime temperatures across the state are higher than usual. For instance, the nighttime temperature in Patna city was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, nearly five degrees higher than normal. Similar conditions were observed in areas like Gaya and Purnia, where higher temperatures were felt.
