Upon completion of Phase 1, the airport is expected to handle 12 million passengers annually, increasing to 70 million in Phase 4. The initial phase will feature a 3,900-meter runway with 28 aircraft stands, accommodating 100,000 air traffic movements per year. A passenger terminal spanning 100,000 square meters is also part of the construction plan.
