In a bold move signaling its readiness for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party is set to host a grand “Hai Tayyar Hum” mega rally in Nagpur on December 28. Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary in-charge Communications, conveyed that the rally would serve as a clarion call for the party’s election campaign.

Ramesh mentioned that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi have unequivocally expressed the party’s willingness for seat sharing and the need for a united and robust INDIA alliance. The party is prepared to take every measure to ensure victory.

This strategic initiative follows the Congress Working Committee’s unanimous adoption of a resolution to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections both independently and as part of the INDIA group. The CWC emphasized the significance of the “Hai Tayyar Hum” rally, scheduled on the party’s foundation day, as a crucial step in this direction.

Recent organizational changes within the Congress have seen Avinash Pande appointed as the General Secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, succeeding Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Sachin Pilot taking charge of Chhattisgarh.

As the Congress gears up for the 2024 elections, the rally in Nagpur is anticipated to set the tone for the party’s campaign and financial strengthening through public participation.

Stay tuned for in-depth coverage and analysis of the political landscape as the Congress kickstarts its election preparations.
