In an electrifying start to the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) e-auction, seven luxurious penthouses, with a hefty reserve price of ₹5 crore each, were swiftly claimed, fetching the highest bid of ₹5.77 crores. The four-bedroom duplex apartments located in Dwarka Sector 19B boasted a plinth area of 424 sqm.

Apart from the penthouses, DDA successfully sold 138 Super High Income Group (SHIG) flats and 129 Middle Income Group (MIG) flats. Notably, the highest bid for an SHIG flat surpassed expectations at ₹4.52 crores, well above its base reserve price of ₹2.5 crores.

DDA officials reported a robust response from bidders, with premiums reaching as high as 80% above the reserve price in some instances. The remaining penthouses are scheduled for another round of auction, and 946 High Income Group (HIG) apartments will be up for bidding soon.

Stay tuned for more updates on Delhi’s real estate landscape.
