In a significant stride towards advanced learning resources, Haryana’s Director General of Police (DGP), Shatrujeet Kapur, inaugurated the first-ever police e-library in Sonepat district. The inauguration highlighted the facility’s state-of-the-art amenities, catering to students preparing for competitive exams.

The e-library features a comprehensive collection of standard books, magazines, globes, maps, dictionaries, and other educational materials across diverse subjects. The inauguration event, attended by students from various educational institutions, allowed the DGP to inspect the premises and familiarize himself with the available facilities.

Director General Kapur emphasized the e-library’s role in aiding students preparing for competitive exams, providing valuable study materials and resources. The facility aims to serve as a platform for students in their educational journey, offering resources in multiple languages.

During his address, Kapur urged the youth to shift their focus from drug-related activities to academics, sports, and social service. He highlighted the societal consequences of drug addiction, encouraging individuals to contribute actively to preventing the younger generation from falling into the trap of substance abuse.
