Haryana Political Crisis:The political landscape in Haryana has intensified ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Congress claims to have predicted the unfolding events. It is reported that Nayab Singh Saini is set to become the next Chief Minister.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet ministers have submitted their resignations to the Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, escalating the political temperature in the state. Nayab Singh Saini is expected to take the oath at 5 PM. Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda has reacted to the entire sequence of events, highlighting his earlier prediction made three months ago in Sirsa, stating that the BJP-JJP alliance had broken the proclaimed agreement. He hinted at a possible rift between JJP and INLD, aligning with Congress votes.

Haryana Politics Heats Up

The political scenario in Haryana has become intense ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Tensions were brewing between the ruling BJP and JJP coalition over seat-sharing. Meanwhile, CM Khattar and his cabinet ministers, including JJP members under the leadership of CM Khattar and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, resigned. The JJP had 14 members in the cabinet.

Current Situation in Haryana

According to sources, the swearing-in ceremony for the new cabinet could take place at the Raj Bhavan. BJP has called a meeting of its legislators at ‘Haryana Niwas.’ Central Minister Arjun Munda, BJP’s National Secretary Tarun Chugh, and BJP Rajya Sabha member Subhash Barala have been appointed as observers. Currently, BJP has 41 out of 90 seats in the State Assembly, while JJP has 10. The powerful coalition has the support of seven independent legislators. The main opposition party, Congress, holds 30 seats, and there is one seat each for Indian National Lok Dal and Haryana Lokhit Party. Notably, BJP won all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state in 2019.
