Hindus Urged to Adopt ‘Jhatka’ Meat by BJP Leader Giriraj Singh

In a recent address in his parliamentary constituency, Union Minister Giriraj Singh called upon Hindus to embrace ‘Jhatka’ meat, eschewing ‘halal’ options. Singh praised the commitment of Muslims to halal traditions and urged Hindus to similarly adhere to their religious practices, emphasizing the Hindu way of slaughter as ‘jhatka.’ The minister advocated for a new business model with exclusive ‘jhatka’ meat outlets, echoing a previous call to ban the sale of labeled “halal” food products. This comes in the wake of Uttar Pradesh’s move against ‘Halal Certificates.’
