New Delhi: The prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, has unveiled an online certificate program titled ‘Project Management: Theory & Practice.’ This comprehensive 60-hour online course is scheduled to commence on November 4, 2023. The virtual classes will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Eligibility for the course includes individuals with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or diploma holders in engineering from a recognized university.
The program fee is INR 10,000, with an additional 18 percent Goods and Services Tax (GST). Evaluation will be based on quizzes, projects, case studies, and assignments, with criteria set by the faculty.
The primary objective of this course is to equip students with the skills needed to effectively manage projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints. To earn a certificate, students must achieve a minimum score of 50 percent in the evaluation components and attend at least 70 percent of the lectures and tutorials. Certificates will be provided in electronic format.
IIT Delhi, one of India’s premier institutions, is renowned for its excellence in science, engineering, and technology education and research. Established in 1961, it was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963,” and officially became the “Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.”
