New Delhi,  As the grand opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches, the nearly completed sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of Lord Ram will be placed, was shared by Champat Rai, the Secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust. The sanctum, adorned with intricate carvings, is progressing steadily under the supervision of the Trust.

Mr. Rai shared the images, stating, “The sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shri Ramlala is almost ready. Recently, the lighting-fitting work has also been completed. Sharing some photographs with you.”

The construction has reached an advanced stage, with the idol of Lord Ram reportedly 90 percent ready. The finishing touches are expected to be completed within a week. The consecration ceremony, known as ‘Praan-Pratishtha,’ is scheduled for January 22, 2024, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the inauguration.

Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. The Trust assured arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people attending the event, with local authorities implementing enhanced security measures and logistical preparations for the anticipated surge in visitors.
