Patna:The Mahagathbandhan in Bihar has reached a consensus on seat sharing, and the official announcement has been made. The nomination process for the first phase of voting has concluded, and the allocation of seats has been finalized. The prolonged deadlock within the Mahagathbandhan regarding seat sharing has been resolved, and now, Congress has been allotted 9 seats. The allocation of seats for RJD and Left parties has also been announced. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, RJD will play a major role within the Mahagathbandhan.

Congress Gets 9 Seats:

– Patna Sahib

– Katihar

– Kishanganj

– West Champaran

– Samastipur

– Sasaram

– Muzaffarpur

– Bhagalpur

– Maharajganj

Seats Allocated to Left Parties:

– CPI (M): Khagaria

– CPI: Begusarai

RJD Gets 26 Seats:

– Gaya

– Jamui

– Banka

– Valmiki Nagar

Congress to Contest Elections in Bhagalpur After a Long Time:

On Friday, top leaders of the Mahagathbandhan parties held a press conference at the RJD office in Patna and announced the seat sharing. All eyes were on the seats allocated to Congress. Congress has received a total of 9 seats. In the first phase of voting, RJD candidates will contest. Meanwhile, the Bhagalpur seat has been given to Congress this time.

Uncertainty Ends on Purnia Seat, RJD to Field Candidate:

It is noteworthy that there was a deadlock between RJD and Congress regarding seat sharing. RJD had already announced candidates for several seats. Meanwhile, the Purnia seat has also gone to RJD. Pappu Yadav, representing Congress, has been persistently pushing for entry into the electoral arena. Now, RJD will field its candidate from this seat.
